FedWorld was established by The National Technical Information Service(NTIS), an agency of the U.S Department of Commerce, to serve as the online locator service for a comprehensive inventory of information disseminated by the Federal Government.

Villanova Center for Information Law and Policy

The Villanova Center for Information Law and Policy provides access to the Federal Web Locator and the Federal Court Locator,which are great starting points in any Web search for federal information in general or federal court information in particular.

U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) Home Page offers a searchable version of the Monthly Catalog of United States Government Publications ; catalogs of publications available fo sale by the GPO ; and GPO Access ,a collction of databases that provide the full text of bills introduced in Congress,the Contressional Record,the Federal Register,General Accounting Office reports,the U.S. Code, and other documents.

GPO Gate

GPO Gate places a sophisticated yet easy to use interface on the GPO Access databases,which provide the full text of bills introduced in Congress,the Congressional Record,the Federal Register,reports by the General Accounting Office,the U.S. Code,and related databases.

The Internet Wiretap

The Internet Wiretap provides access to an eclectic collection of federal government documents.

U.S. House of Representatives Internet Law Library

The U.S. House of Representatives Internet Law Library offers searchable version of the U.S. Code and the Code of Federal Regulations.

INFORMATION POLICY

Coalition for Networked Information

The Coalition for Networked Information offers documents about the Government Information Locator Service(GILS),which is supposed to help the public locate and access information held by federal agencies.

NTIA information Stores

Two types of files are available on NTIA Information Stores:highly technical documents about spectrum requirements and more general documents about telecommunications policy issues such as development of the National Information Infrastructure(NII). The National Telecommunications and Information Administration(NTIA),which serves as the president's chief advisor on telecommunications policies,is the lead agency in developing the NII.
